This is an archive, not a publication. The Association’s newsletter stopped after November 2019, and this website is what replaced it. Nothing new will appear on this page.
It is kept because the old ones are a decent record of what was going on at the time, and because a gap you can see is more honest than a gap quietly tidied away. The November 2019 issue in particular is worth a look: it is where several of the photographs in the gallery come from.

Six years on these are history rather than news, and they are here for that reason and no other.
During 2020 the Association wrote to members several times, mostly about practical help: who was collecting prescriptions, which local businesses were delivering, how to reach a neighbour who needed something. None of it applies now, and the food suppliers list in particular is long out of date.
It is worth keeping because it is the clearest surviving record of the Association doing the thing it was founded in 1937 to do.
